Shipments from the World’s Most Populous Nation are up more than 20 per cent on last year, say researchers from Taiwan-based Market Intelligence Center (MIC).

AdvertisementChina’s dual sim card mobile phones industry is driven by the country’s vast electronics manufacturing sector and huge home market for mobile phones, the analysts claim.

Shipments rose 23.1 per cent year on year in the second quarter to exceed 132 million units, and are predicted to exceed 147 million units in the third quarter and approach 166 million units in the fourth quarter.

GSM phones dominate the local industry’s output as China’s government still has not licensed any 3G networks.

“Owing to Nokia’s strong global shipment performance, and robust demand in China’s domestic market, thecheap touch screen phones industry’s GSM shipment volume reached 114.9 million units,” said MIC industry analyst Wu Shan-Tung.

“The shipment figure did not live up to expectations, however, due to sluggish shipments from Motorola and its production partner Compal Communications.”

As a result, GSM’s share of the mobile phones industry’s output fell to 87 per cent in the second quarter, down from 91.5 per cent one year earlier.

Cheaper CDMA phones for emerging markets therefore boosted demand from China’s low cost factories.

“Nokia continued to outsource more of its CDMA mobile phones, and Qualcomm launched the value-line QSC-series CDMA chipsets, which significantly increased the price competitiveness of CDMA mobile phones in emerging markets, such as India, the Middle East and Africa,” added Wu.AP) Mobile phone batteries that exploded into flames during tests by officials in southern China were counterfeit, spokeswomen for Nokia and Motorola said Saturday.

The Guangdong Industrial and Commercial Administration’s Web site said four batteries exploded while being Recharged during quality tests, which flunked 40 percent of mobile phone batteries and 80 percent of chargers.

The tests also found that of 40 locally purchased batteries, 15 had a smaller capacity that labeled, sometimes by as much as half.

Motorola spokeswoman Mary Lamb told The Associated Press that Motorola immediately sent a team to Guangdong province and found that the tests were legitimate, but that the three batteries labeled Motorola were counterfeit.

“We went with members of the lab and actually looked at batteries, and determined they were not authentic,” she said.

Nokia spokeswoman Han Ying said the battery labeled Nokia that exploded was counterfeit.

The batteries are the latest in a parade of unsafe goods from China, including poison pet food, fake blood protein and dangerous toys.

Chinese imports accounted for more than 60 percent of the recalls announced by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission this year, and all of the 24 toy recalls.

China recently announced that nearly 20 percent of consumer goods it tested in the domestic market failed quality trials.

mobile phones china tests by Guangdong officials came as Chinese authorities investigate the death of a Weld, who police say died when a Motorola phone exploded in his chest pocket.

A Motorola spokesman said that the company was helping with the investigation in Gansu province, and that it was “highly unlikely” that one of the company’s products was to blame.

The yada YD-V1 is a smartly designed little bluetooth headset . Packaged as part of two hands-free calling bundles, one that has 12-volt direct and USB chargers and another that adds a mobile phone cradle to the mix, the YD-V1 is billed as a “car-centric” headset.

Its design and control scheme all but eliminate button presses beyond the initial pairing, so we can see how the YD-V1 could be easy to use in a vehicle in motion. Simply lift headrest dvd from the cradle to take a call and replace it to end the call.

However, none of that matters if the device does not sound good when making those calls. Audio is plagued with static and hissing at its best. At worst, the weak signal Bluetooth makes for choppy sound when obstructions block the signal, even if that obstruction is between you and the phone headset in a pocket on the opposite side of the body.

As much as we like the understated looks, simple controls, and smart charging solution that the YD-V1 brings, we can not help but feel that it somehow misses the point. A bluetooth watch is supposed to make good sounding, clear calls. Everything else is secondary.

Check out our full review of the yada YD-V1 iphone bluetooth with direct charger and the YD-V1 yada with phone holder.
On April 21 The bluetooth dongle Special Interest Group will announce its new standard. That means a change in the hardware and software used to connect every Bluetooth device.

The group says that the result of the change is that Bluetooth gear will pass more data, more quickly. It also means that there will be a more powerful connection between headsets and handsets, so expect fewer dropped signals.

Old Bluetooth devices will work with new ones, but will not be able to take advantage of the improved features.

Do not toss you currentversion headset, though. The changes will not happen all at once. And it will take nine months to a year before new products enter the market. If you live in California, or any of the states that have outlawed driving and talking, then you know how useful a Bluetooth headset can be. With this in mind, Motorola (NYSE: MOT) rolled out a pair of noise-canceling headsets today, and they look like winners.

The MOTOPURE H15 has a flip design that lets you open to talk and close to save battery. In a handy feature, the company says the H15 can convert 15 minutes of charge time into more than an hour of talk time.

The Motorola H15 has the company’s Crystal Talk technology for clear talk - the previous Motorola headsets I’ve had with this have been pretty good. The H15 thus brings noise canceling, as it will automatically enhance the frequencies to improve call quality.

The H780 sports a more traditional design. It also has the Crystal Talk technology, and the company expects it to get seven hours of talk time. The H15 is expected to cost $ 129, and the H780 is expected to be about $ 100 Both headsets should be available during the fourth quarter, and I’m looking forward to giving them a try.

Now, it should be obvious by now, but I’m kind of a cell phone geek. I also dig on Bluetooth headsets and thinking about giving them more coverage and test-driving some.

For example, I’ve been rocking the BlueAnt V1 voice-control headset for a few weeks now and wanted to share my thoughts. I like the design - it’s a bit plain, but it gets the job done. I was not a huge fan of the ear hook at the beginning (it just felt off), but it grew on me.

But the big deal about this headset is that it has voice powers. Once you turn it on, it’ll give you spoken instructions on how to pair it. It’s essentially the same process as any other headset, but it’s still nice to have verbal instructions.

Pairing was a breeze, whether it’s with my broken-down Helio Ocean or the spiffy new Palm Pro Touch. You can ditch the manual and just say “Teach me,” and you’re given instructions on what you do. You can voice dial your office, house, voice mail, speed dial, and even Google’s 411 service, even if your phone does not have native voice recognition. You can use voice commands to redial, check your battery, ignore calls, and more. Here’s a video with a good walkthrough of how the voice control works (be warned: there’s awful techno music in the background):

As promised, the new and relatively cheap-LG Xenon and neon sliders are here at CTIA, along with a couple of touchscreen envy-inducing gems that we’ve yet to see here in the U.S.: the Arena and the GD900.

First up is the Xenon, announced earlier this week and set to arrive on April 8, AT & T. While it’s not exactly mobile phones I’ve pawed thinner here in Vegas, it’s certainly one of the lighter ones-just 3:18 ounces, not bad for a touchscreen slider.

As far as the Xenon’s touch screen cell phones goes, it’s pretty much par for the course-in fact, anyone who’s familiar with the Vu touchscreen will immediately recognize the same interface on the Xenon.

And while the 3G-enabled headrest dvd t comes with plenty of the messaging features (mobile e-mail, SMS / MMS, and instant messaging are supported), streaming video / music downloads, and one-way video conferencing over the two-megapixel camera, do not look for smartphone capabilities here-indeed, even LG reps are careful not to call the Xenon a smartphone.

The good news, though, is that the Xenon’s relatively cheap price tag - $ 99, with a two-year contract reflects its mid-range features, and the full, slide-out QWERTY keypad (easy to use, save for the too -small space bar) is a nice bonus.

Next, I tried out the Neon, a non-touchscreen QWERTY slider that targets the youth (or youthful, at least) audience. The Neon is even more bare-bones than the xenon-no 3G, no streaming video, music downloads and no-but you still get the same basic messaging features, and I actually liked the Neon’s round QWERTY keys better than the Xenon squarish keypad. Nope, the Neon’s no iPhone, but it’s pretty solid considering the $ 29 (with a two-year contract) price tag.

So that’s the scoop in terms of LG’s new U.S. handsets, nice, but nothing earth-shattering. But then I got my first hands-on with a couple of red-hot touch screen mp4 player for Europe, the Arena, and the GD900.

Both phones were announced last month at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and while the arena recently won FCC approval here in the States, neither has a U.S. phone release date yet-not even a ball park date, even.

That said, you can always dream, and the Arena and are clearly GD900-dream (and drool-) worth. Both handsets boast LG’s new “S-Class” interface, an eye-popping UI complete with 3D cubes that spin to reveal various applications (similar to HTC’s TouchFlo interface). The GD900 (armed with an 8MP camera and speedy HSDPA access) takes things a step further with its transparent, and slide-out touch-sensitive numeric keypad, which you can Swipe with a finger to manipulate menus, photos, lists of songs, and so on.

Cool, right? Sadly, though, no firm plans for either the Arena or the U.S. to make GD900 landmark case, at least not yet. Still, fingers crossed.china electronics has introduced the KP500 to affordable mobile phone with a touchscreen display. The company’s success has persuaded the release of bearing-touchscreen phones into every level of the mobile market.

The KP500 will be a slim-profiled (106.5 x 55.4 x 11.9 mm) and lightweight device (89g) and will come in the Vandyke brown, Anodizing silver, and Elegant gold colors. The phone will feature a 3 “touchscreen display with 240×400 pixels of resolution, a 3.2 megapixel camera, 39 languages, on-screen QWERTY keyboard, accelerometer (motion sensor), Bluetooth, and USB 2.0.

LG is betting in the market where all manufacturers should be betting right now, but none of them does. The manufacturer should get a positive response by releasing an attractive phone that has the most advanced hardware-implemented user interface for an affordable price. We are yet to know the price, but we are curious as the specifications are not bad at all

Press release and more images, and a demonstration video of the user interface after the break. You can also choose to download or embed the video.

At that time he liked her gentle fingertips. Each action of her fingers had affected his nerves. He also Remembered the laughter when he was with her. Love was like a dream. with the China wholesale touch screen phones, it was the happy life for them to live together.

They were schoolmates in the university. They were from the strange to the familiar, and then fell in love with each other, there were only a few minutes. She was slender and graceful, gentle and amorous, he was completely fascinated at the first sight of her. He still Remembered the touch screen phones which the beautiful sales girl demonstrated in the touch screen phones shop. On the sales girl’s slim fingers, the touch screen phones were moving like a stream. He had a Brainwave, on Valentine’s Day, the touch screen phone which he bought in her mailbox. It was a wholesale China touch screen phone. Though very cheap, it was the best gift for her. At that time the touch screen phones had just become popular, he was not blindly chasing the fashion, the China wholesale touch screen phone was really born for her. It was just like a ball operated only by her, her slim fingers always moved with the music on the China wholesale touch screen phone. Her beautiful slim fingers were like the cranes staying on a slight Ripplinger lake surface. How he could not be fascinated with her? It was just because of the China wholesale touch screen phone, he gradually held her hand. Tomorrow she would wear his wedding ring in one of her slim fingers with which she touched the China wholesale touch screen phone. With the China wholesale touch screen phones, the happiness had come so easy!

Now, as far as “cool” phones are concerned … how exactly do you define “cool”? What kind of features are you looking for? What kind of design aesthetics are you interested in? Have you looked at the new Motorola KRZR? Have you seen china tv mobile phone Coop article about the new Motorola RAZR MAXX Verizon is going to be getting?

As someone who has been carrying a so-called sciphone for as long as I can remember (I had Windows Mobile devices from Siemens and HTC since they launched years back) and even a BlackBerry or Palm device, I’m not at all surprised at how The New York Times has now labeled the Personal Information Manager based devices a “necessity.”

But the Cards have gone well past being just a PIM, as they have taken on the life of a being a computer in your pocket, running apps that make you more efficient, are more helpful or just more entertaining.

When you add in a solid VoIP client to the mix, so the china mobile phone becomes a money saving device and more capable, almost paying for itself too.

My smartphone of choice? The Nokia E71. Hands down the most attractive, and most useful one I have. For me, while the newer and shinier Nokia E75 has a smaller form factor, the E71 is clearly the only device I have that really Rivals the BlackBerry as the ultimate smartphone …. for a person on the go.

Yes, Nokia is an agency client to be totally transparent. The Carousel is easy to use and quite convenient. You can select multiple categories simply to display and click again to stop showing a category. It will only show what’s in the Map view, so zoom in or out to expand or decrease the locations shown on your screen.

The app, however, needs a lot of work in the search department. The app consistently returns a “No Search Results Found” button - for everything from “Cedar Point” to “Washington Monument” to “Las Vegas.”

You therefore need to sign into an account if you want to access “My Places” features. Registering and signing into accounts via china mobile phones is a pain.

Right now, the app is perfect for finding nearby coffee, hotels, traffic conditions, etc. Hopefully in the future we’ll see better search functions and more without needing a MapQuest account.

LG’s Martin Valdez looks a little like he could enter to Elvis look-alike contest, a much-needed feature for what ended up being mostly show: The unveiling of LG’s cell phone watch . For once, this actually looks like something you might want to wear, and I do not mean for the khaki / sneaker set either (you know who you are). This is stylish. Maybe sexy. But it does not work. The ideas are great, but at this point, because the device is far from shipping, they’re just ideas.

Here’s our video.

That’s right, the LG watch phones is just a concept, hardly even a prototype, and will not be built until a carrier steps up The plan is to introduce it in Europe first. If carriers step up, you’ll have something pretty special, because in addition to telling time (and even here, LG admits it’s still working out The Kinks - the watch stops when the cell battery this) and making phone calls, it has a camera and an MP3 player, and does video and two-way video conferencing. The touch-screen interface takes you to a variety of productivity applications, and it supports Bluetooth as well.

The PCMag.com Network grew by one this week: Watch our excellent security section is now its own blog!

The new format will be similar to our Gearlog and AppScout blogs, built on SixApart’s Movable Type Enterprise.

Rich blog platforms such as ours make content easier to read and easier to provide feedback. Larry Seltzer will continue his comprehensive security coverage, and our team of software experts will be chiming in from time to time as well. Feel free to engage them by leaving comments and sending e-mails.

We’ll keep up the in-depth coverage of hot security topics (phish, spam, known vulnerabilities, viruses, spyware, malware and general trends), and you can retrieve content using RSS feed and numerous other services like Newsgator, Technorati, Windows Live, My Yahoo!, and many more. We will still be sending out the Security Watch newsletter twice a week, and you can click here for help subscribing or Unsubscribing.

We hope you find the new format pleasant to work with. If you have any comments on it, please let us know at securitywatch@pcmag.com. But enough talk. Head over to our new Security Watch blog at blogs.pcmag.com / security watch and be sure to bookmark it!

In yesterday’s blog post, I touched upon some of the important details about setting up your china wholesale marketplace connections in China, by making use of the amazing Canton Trade Fair. Of course, there’s more than one way to get yourself up and running in the race to buy / sell goods, and I hope to shed some light upon the darker mysteries surrounding your interest in making a first-time connection with China.

Since we’ve already covered the first point on my list, now it’s time to do what some of us do best … and surf the net for a little while!

- The biggest buy direct from china - The Internet and You
- Networks and Connections (aka Guanxi)

Using B2B Web sites and search engines

Everybody in the industry who knows anything about trade with wholesale china electronics is using at least a few of the online resources available to people who want to buy from manufacturers and distributors all around the world. Trouble is, some of the big ones have become so Bloated - or Rife with scams - that a decline in quality has become apparent to many unhappy users. Take industry giant Alibaba.com for example, this is a company that was hailed as a leading mover and shaker during China’s’ Miraculous’ years, but now has become the target of some rather unscrupulous con artists looking to make a quick buck. Most sites offer a forum to discuss these issues (like this one) but the bottom line is: due diligence. In other words, do not go grocery shopping on an empty stomach, or you’ll just end up coming home with a bunch of junk food.

Had enough bad news for one day? Fortunately, there’s a lot of buy chinese wholesale in the market, and with the ever-tightening noose around the Necks of manufacturers during a global financial downturn, it’s actually getting easier to point out some of the bad guys, as competitors and partners alike are reaching a form of solidarity amidst the Peril.

If you want to hit the ground running, try a search engine like our very own www.toptenwholesale.com for a start. Other resources include electronics china, and of course the venerable Google. Try a little variety in your search term, to get as many relevant leads as possible. So keep in mind that pay-per-click advertising is still pretty new tech in China (not for long) so looking for those little ads on the sidebar will not help you as much when sniffing around the Chinese sites. Since Google is the current champ in the search game, try plugging these in to find some additional leads …
- Made in China
- Global Sources
- Tradekey
… And see what happens. Grave another cup of coffee, and prepare to spend a little time investigating the possibilities. After you’ve looked at everything the Internet has to offer about search, get ready for tomorrow’s blog … where I will cover some basic things that everyone in the wholesale and retail business should know about making connections and establishing chinese electronics wholesale I always used to wonder where stores like Macy’s, TJ Maxx, Nordstrom and others found their costume jewelry. I knew they did not make it themselves and I also knew that in order to stay in business, they had to make a lot money and healthy margin on any item they sell. Why do i tell you this? For some simple reasons … I want your retail business to be able to compete with the big boxes out there once I disclose a Secre t buy electronics from china jewelry source / manufacturer.

J Good-In Inc. is just a gem of a supplier to find. Over 25 years in the biz, 50 employees in CA and over 500 overseas. These guys can crank out just about any size order jewelry in a matter of weeks. Their CEO, Jay Chen, has been a close colleague of mine for years and I can only tell ya ‘that he is one of the most credible young Execs you’ll ever meet. First class VIP buyer service and 1000’s of costume necklaces, rings, pendant, ear rings and more.

These are literally solid as a rock and if you’re thinking about wholesaling, importing, manufacturing or retailing jewelry at wholesale - look no further. My name is Sandy Liu, and in 2009 I was selected to be the general manager of American-based JP Communications (www.TopTenWholesale.com) newest office in Hangzhou, China. Ever since I had a chance to learn and implement transfer site building in 1997, I have been involved in this industry through its many changes over the past 10 years. To put it simply, I like using the Internet, and I think there are more technical innovations that need to be made in the years to come. I’ve chosen to dedicate my future to this industry.

In the area of e-commerce, Sandy Hails from her early post-university days with www.etransfar.com, a well-known and Chemical Logistics enterprise in Zhejiang Province. Not long after those formative first two years, in 1999 she took a chance as she was brought aboard a small fledgling company with big dreams of Dominating the Internet-based commerce. Working from Mr. Isaac Mao’s house as the 47th employee, Sandy took part in leading the charge to develop this company - named Alibaba.com - and to promote its growth as China’s most revered and respected commercial trade site, which currently employs over 300.000. After five years of spearheading the design and implementation of Alibaba’s core feature set, example trade leads, product showroom, and company profile, she decided to make a break from the industry giant and start her own private company in 2004. Anyone who considers themselves a key player in the industry should be watching to see where Sandy Liu’s enormous experience in B2B e-commerce, product management, and online marketing takes her in the future.

You ever wonder just where to get that or closeouts wholesale price from surplus dealers and liquidator? Here is a website most of you likely do not know about: Surplus.net. This is the good old boys network of surplus dealers, closeouts and liquidators. They have been around for about 10 years and have close to 100 members of all Specializing in merchandise and closeouts of some sort.

Further, if you’re a wholesaler or liquidator looking to join Surplus.net, memberships are readily available, or it’s just as easy to rent one from a fellow supplier. Check them out and let me know what you think. If you’re interested in purchasing a share or becoming a member, give me a shout and I’ll arrange for it to happen.

I’ve been living in China and working with local businesses for 3 years now, and it’s becoming apparent to me that a lot of people who want to make the leap into doing trade with China are simply lacking some basic information to get started on the road to success. I just wanted to let you know that it’s not that hard, if you’ve got the time.

Since this topic in enormously heavy to try to crack open in a little blog post, I’ll simply break it down into a few key components:

- The biggest trade fair in China
- The Internet and you
- Networks and Connections (aka Guanxi)

The Canton Fair
Let’s talk about the biggest trade fair in China, and how it performed in 2008. During the Spring Session, more than 10.000 Chinese companies attended to strut their stuff in front of the world. That’s a lot of companies vying for your attention, and it may sound like something beyond the capacity of that well-worn copy of Lonely Planet Chinese PhraseBook you have sticking out of your back pocket … not to mention your Hopelessly poor spoken Chinese! Here we go

My boyfriend is now regretting mango because this tv mobile phone has occupied my mind, yes, he gets jealous. So how fantastic is it?

The cute mango dual sim mobile phone has not only lovely profile which is similar to mango, but also the pattern of Mickey Mouse covers the surface. There are two different colors for choosing, and the color blue mobile is printed with a Mitch which is on behalf of men, while the pink one with a Minnie standing for ladies. Great for lovers!

Surface of the hello kitty cell phone is very smooth mellow which feels wonderful. Compared with most more than 2.8 inches mobile, mango cellphone drives a 2.0-inch screen is more delicate. However, its wonder nobody wants to 240 * 320px resolution because it is just the right size. With one 130w pixels COMS camera, which support maximum 1280 * 1024 resolution pictures, so it is suitable for taking pictures. Besides, photos can be taken with audio of shutter.

Do not take this lightly mango mobile! Though it is mini with a dimension of 99 (L) × 55 (W) × 20 (H) mm, there are still many functions added to. The equalizer makes the good sound quality. You can even reading your favorite e-book while listening to music. When listening to music, this mango will be flashing with colorful LED lights all the time. Though the display may be a little small, 3GP/MP4 video formats can be supported and you can watch it in full-screen playback.

Compact keyboard and handwriting input are waiting for you to choose. With a bluetooth headset, you are able to file transfer and enjoy music in stereo. GPRS, MMC, FM, E-book, e-mail … Is there anything that you are still not satisfied? Do not worried about its quality! When standby, it can last 80 - 150 hours.

If you really love Dainty gadgets, then this mobile mango should be no more suitable for you. Seeking truth from facts, this sweet and useful mobile mango almost does not have any gripe with its good value for money prices.

No satisfying? Then have a look at our other watch mobile . I am sure you will find one you like! Check it out. I just got my hands on a sweet little package called the Nokia N82. So here we go with a Nokia N82 quick review. You can either watch the Nokia N82 video review or just read what I’ve got to say about it here.

quad band phones is a multi-media powerhouse. It comes with not one but TWO camera’s. One in the back that is featuring a 5 megapixel Carl Zeiss optics, auto focus and integrated Xenon flash. One in the front for self portraits and video calls.

A Nokia N82 review would not be complete without mentioning that the one thing that actually surprised me is that Nokia actually included the Audio / Video TV cable in the box. That’s right, you can shoot your videos, snap your photos, add some sound tracks to them and plug this bad boy into your television set to show your firends all of your media on a large format screen. Suh-weet!

So it’s worth mentioning that you can drop a 2GB microSD memory card into tv phones to store all of your multi-media files.

Retail Lobbyist group the Consumer Electronics Association strong growth expected in the car with consumers DVD market expected to spend $ 419 million.
Rose Li, PR Manager for China dropship wholesale supplier, Chinavasion says that the high price mental consumers put on Car DVD Players and the bargain basement wholesale prices of China, da DVD players and the lesser competition for customers in the market means they are perfect for eBay resellers to dropship in 2009.
“china Car DVD Players become even more profitable for eBay Händler when they are dropshipped,” according to Rose Li. “When the need to have money tied up inventory are removed the possibilities for Business Expansion are huge.”
When an eBay reseller or online uses a vendor dropshipper they list the item for sale Ziel NICHT actually pay for the item until somebody has bought it from them.
The wholesale dropshipper then sends the item directly to the customer’s reseller advertising without any material which would allow the customer to work out where the goods have come from.
However, eBay Händler needed to make sure they had a China dropshipper that had great customer service, a good policy and returns a Stringent QC process according to Rose Li.
“Chinavasion is so sure of its Stringent QC policy that it offers a 12 month warranty on all of its products, including its da DVD players,” according to Rose Li.
“To make matters even easier Chinavasion’s customer service staff is professional, friendly and specially trained in handling dropshipping issues.” Planning a long trip, with one or more children? Nothing beats a portable DVD player, and this year’s crop offers more features per dollar than any other travel season. For about $ 100 you can find a player that can save you the trouble of duct-Taping your laptop to the back of your Headrest. Here’s what you can expect to get for $ 100 or so:

* A remote control, for nice pausing seat from the front, for a rest stop.
* Dual (or more) headphone jacks; essential if you have more than one child. You might want to the pipe auch Audio through your car’s speakers, added for volume control.
* Two Power Adapter - DC for the car, and AC for home and for charging the battery before your trip.
* An internal battery that can last the length of “Finding Nemo” (120 Minuten)
* A 16-by-9-inch screen ratio, the de facto Dimension for mainstream Car MP3 Transmitters
* A video-out cable, in case you want to plug into your movie’s your hotel TV.
* A video-in-Port, in case you want you to plug a camcorder, to review your daughter’s soccer game footage on the way home from The Game. I noticed that video-in ports were missing on most lower-end models.

Other options to consider include a storage case and a strap of some sort to attach the player to the back of your Headrest.

Eltern, before you one of these plunk handy electronic Frieden in the back and start your Sipping Latten, here’s a list Starter for how you can extend the utility of these Car FM transmitter . Feel free to contribute your favorite DVD technischen as well.

TIP 1: Portable DVD players play more than DVDs. They can also play music, audio books, or family Fotoalben as slide shows. Older children can edit and burn their own movies, where they’re the star.

Tip 2: Have a disk storage strategy. Children, juice boxes and puppies are like a yogurt-fueled tornado inside your minivan. Disks can get smudged, puppies and appreciate the novel chew toys. Invest in a CD wallet ($ 6 and up) to its seat in the pocket, and pay besondere Aufmerksamkeit when it’s time to load or unload the disks. Leave the empty jewel cases at home on a shelf, labeled with a sticky note that says is where the disk.

TIP 3: Have an Audio strategy. I’ve tested several brands of portable DVD players, and none have had speakers that can compete with a loaded Minivan charging down I-80, especially if the air conditioning is on. Portable CD oder iPod speakers are one-Lösung, although they may need their own power source. In terms of quality audio, or earbuds headphones are the best option. If your device has only one Jack, pick up a 1 / 8 Inch Y-Adapter ($ 8 at Radio Shack), so that two children can share the same soundtrack.

Tip 4: Bribe your spouse to drive (another latte) and crawl into the back seat. Then soak precious every second you can with your precious children as you enjoy the movie together in your rolling theater. That leads to Tip 5:

TIP 5: Think “do my kids really need to see ‘Finding Nemo’ for the 32nd time?” Take your kids to the best value on earth - your local library - and browse the DVD collection together. Most libraries also have online catalogs that let you reserve the titles you want, in case you’r in a rush. Ihr Ziel? Turn “Feld-out time” to “quality time.”

Or you could always try to talking to one another.
